Instagram Finally Launches on iPad
A new app is now available on the App Store for iPadOS 15.1. Soon it will also be available for Android tablets, said Instagram.

For a long time, iPad users were requesting the app, but Instagram delayed it because the company was worried about the image quality when displayed on a large screen. However, the company sorted out the issue and launched Instagram for iPadOS.
You will notice some differences while using the app. The homepage opens directly to the Reels page, the Story section is at the top, and navigation is on the left.
You will be able to see non-Reels posts under the Following tab. This section is divided into three main parts:
- All – shows posts and Reels from accounts you follow.
- Friends – shows posts only from people who also follow you back.
- Latest – shows the most recent posts first.
Instagram has also made some changes for bigger screens. When you watch Reels, Comments will open on the right side of the screen, so you can read them while watching the video on the left side. On the other hand, on the mobile app, opening comments partly covers the Reel.
